I often talk about history and culture on my Instagram, make films, and also travel to give lectures.
And so I recently decided that just lectures were already a thing, so I came up with a new genre – historical stand-up

WHY?
I have always been convinced that the history of Russia, if you think about it, is not only tragedy and horror, but also an incredible cascade of funny stories.
Characters from portraits, banknotes and school textbook pages can also be characters in a comedy.
Yes, even Stalin and Ivan the Terrible!
At the same time, it is somehow not customary for us to laugh at ourselves, and especially at our own history.
Neighbors, especially the Baltic ones, are not amused by Russia's history for other reasons.
But it was precisely the comical inviolability of our history that turned Russia into a power that never laughed.
But you remember, right? The enchanted princess will remain unloved until she's made to laugh.
And her gloomy appearance will only inspire fear in everyone else.
