Miriam Sekhon, theatre and film actress, singer, and pianist Elizaveta Miller, will give one concert in Toronto on May 3 at the Studio N chamber hall.
The program includes everyone\u2019s favorite songs from Vertinsky to Tariverdiev, from Nina Simone to Barbara.<\/p>

Miriam and Elizabeth have been friends since early childhood; their mothers were friends and sat at the same desk.<\/p>

Miriam Sekhon graduated from GITIS. She played many roles on the \u201cTheatrical Art Studio\u201d stage in Moscow, in performances by Ivan Vyrypaev, Mindaugas Karbauskis, Dmitry Krymov, Nina Chusova and others. Viewers remember her from her roles in the films \u201cSunstroke\u201d and the TV series \u201cPeter Leshchenko. All that happened\u201d, \u201cThose eyes opposite\u201d. Many people also know her as a singer, vocalist and frontwoman of VIA Tatyana.<\/p>

Professor at Montreal's McGill University, Elizaveta Miller, studied at the Moscow Conservatory in France and the USA and masterfully plays various instruments, including ancient keyboards.<\/p>

In 2022, fate brought them together in Montreal, and it was as if they had returned to their childhood when they staged home performances and concerts for family and friends. They have been performing together recently and have discovered each other in a new role. It turns out that friendship and mutual understanding work wonders; it\u2019s easy for them to play and sing together, just as it was easy to be friends all their lives.
